Prior to that he received a B.S in Business Management from Southern Illinois University. After being a collegiate water polo player and swimmer, Dr. Joel was left with chronic shoulder conditions. Dr. Erickson was raised and graduated high school in Warren, MN. While attending high school, he participated in many different sports and activities; mainly football, basketball, baseball and golf. He went on to college at St. Cloud State University for two years before transferring to the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis where he graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology. While attending the University of Minnesota, he was a student athletic trainer for the Division I men's basketball and football teams. He was vice president of the men's rugby team for two years while also playing rugby in college for five years. He played two years at St. Cloud State University and three at the U of M. After graduating, he pursued his doctorate degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While attending Palmer, he was a tutor for elementary kids in an after school program for three years. During his last year at Palmer College he was fortunate enough to go on a clinic abroad trip to Bolivia, South America where we held a free clinic for anyone in need of health care. A group of 20 doctors helped approximately 3000 people in one week. Dr. Mario Gonzalez earned his bachelor degree in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois. He went on to work at Abbott labs, and then at the University of Chicago doing research for the plastic surgery department with burn unit victims to improve their quality of life. "I saw Dr. Painchaud recently for some mid-back stiffness and neck pain. It was a pleasure going through my issues with her because I could tell that she was really listening to what I was saying. She explained what she thought was happening and walked me through what my treatment would look like going forward. She spoke clearly and explained things simply. My stiffness was almost completely gone after the first treatment. Some of the neck pain was still there, but that improved more as the day went on.
